Kirsty's Story

When Kirsty was growing up she loved to make things. She made robots out of boxes and bracelets out of colourful wire. She wrote stories and poems about mystery and magic. She drew pictures of wild animals and imaginary islands. She also made friends with people all over the world. These friends helped her learn about different places and different cultures. They helped her become a global citizen and care about their planet and its people.

Today Kirsty is grown up but she still cares about all those things. And she still loves making things. She has made things with kids from South Africa, the UK, Rwanda, Canada, Ghana, the United States...and all over the world! And she has seen how kids can be creative anywhere and with anything! In fact, sometimes the less things they have to be creative with, the more creative they are.
